We have an opportunity to support and encourage the next generation of leading women.
Raising Girls is a local non-profit organization that provides necessary hygiene products to young people in Western Washington, and partners with schools and local organizations committed to serving our youth. They are committed to end period poverty and hygiene insecurity.
We can support this cause by attending a "packing party" to put together backpacks for distribution to girls in the Pierce County area. Join us for our first "party" Saturday, March 25 at 10 a.m.
We can have fun while caring for others - beverages will be served! Please bring a snack to share that doesn't require utensils so we can keep things simple.
If members are interested, we can also organize a drive to collect a wide variety of items, including sanitary supplies, socks, and many other supportive goods.
